The larger plinth makes way for more & better circuitry in the junction box. The Pro-Ject team has taken this opportunity to design a circuit that leaves other built-in MM phono stages in the dust! Supplied with a high-value Sumiko Rainier MM cartridge ($149 value), this is a true hi-fi playback system with no corners cut. Keep in mind that the circuit can be disengaged with the push of a button should you want to upgrade to a low-output MC cartridge.

The elegantly crafted CNC-machined plinth has been expanded in size to enhance stability & tonearm geometry. Available in 3 striking finishes (gloss black, satin white or Walnut laminate), no plastic is used in its construction! Also free of resonant hollow spaces, it effectively prevents unwanted vibration within the chassis.
